I love trading my Record Price Breakout strategy. I love it because it’s so reliable that I don’t have any problem posting the stocks that appear on the stock screen as long trading ideas publicly. Last night I ran my screen and posted these 5 symbols on my long stock ideas for today:

Today, the S&P 500 lost almost 1.5% at its low, and closed down over 1%.
Even with this strong drop in the market, the stocks I mentioned last night performed quite admirably. If you would have traded stocks that opened higher, these would have been the results:
DTPI – up 2.85% on strong volume

NWCI – up 22.8% on strong volume (note 22.8% is NOT a type-o)

If you were to have taken a $5000 position in each of these stocks on the open, you would have made $878 or 4%. Not bad for a single day when the markets got hammered!
